The Dolce Vita gladiolus will shine on a garden border and in a vase at home thanks to its long ear-shape inflorescences. White-pink flowers with frilled petals are the indispensable part of summer flowering. The perianth, subtly accentuated by a subdued, washed-out yellow dot, complements the flower. Plants that shoot from an underground corm grow up to 120 centimetres tall. That height makes them one of the tallest among garden plants. Narrow linear, bright green leaves are gathered densely in plumes that surround a single flower stalk. Gladioli take on an erect growth form and can therefore mark the borders of a composition. Dolce Vita gladioli are reliable, their flowering specimens will always cheer you up.

Successful cultivation of gladioli bases on several rules. The site prepared for them should be sunny, warm, and sheltered from the wind. The soil they like the most, would be fresh, humous, moderately moist, and have a neutral reaction. Plant gladioli in spring, at the end of April and beginning of May. They grow quicker and more vigorously in a warm and dried soil. Put bulbs into holes that are deep thrice the height of the bulb. Leave at least 10 centimetre spacings between plants.

Gladioli quickly get injured by frost. You must dig out the bulbs before the winter. It should take place about a month after the end of the flowering period. Gladioli bulbs, with stems and bulbils removed, should be layered with dry papers in airy boxes and baskets. After storing them in a cool and dry room over the winter, you can plant them again in the garden.

One package contains 5 gladioli bulbs of the presented variety. These bulbs are sized 12/14 centimetres in circumference. The basic plant information and growing instructions can be found on the package label.
