Edelweiss is a perennial plant that grows 15 to 20 centimetres in height. This variety produces one-of-a-kind large star-shaped flowers in a beautiful shade of white. With a flowering period from June to July, Edelweiss is recommended to be grown in rockeries or in low perennial beds. Also, this variety is a wonderful cut flower.

Growing: sow the seeds under cover or in a seedbed from March to April. Plant out into a permanent position in 20x30cm spacings from August to September. The plants require light permeable soils or gravely ones. This variety does not tolerate moist in the winter; it prefers warm or sunny positions.
