Tomato "Harzfeuer F1" (Solanum lycopersicum), a field variety highly regarded across Europe, belongs to the earliest heterotic hybrids with increased productivity. Thanks to the resistance to adverse weather conditions, including temperature fluctuations, this presented variety may be grown in the open field (in warmer regions). It yields rich harvest for a long time under unheated covers. This variety produces impressive, round, unrippled fruit with a firm skin that does not break and shelters fleshy, sweet, vividly red fruit flesh. These tomatoes will not be affected by green shoulders, nor have hyperpigmented stains. They taste great both raw, for example in sandwiches, and processed.

Seeds of the "Harzfeuer F1" tomato are sown to a heated hot bed, indoor greenhouse or to glass-covered pots at home in early spring. Beautiful, fully ripened fruit might be harvested in the first half of July the earliest, while the latest crops may be expected in September. Please remember that tomatoes are rather demanding in regard to soil. It should be carefully prepared before the seedling production - weeded, loosened, moist and enriched with compost, granulated manure or other vegetable fertiliser.
