Five Spot is an annual plant with very unique and highly decorative flowers in the form of a five-petal head with a white centre; each petal features has a distinctive blue to violet spot on the very edge, hence the name of this variety. Flowering around 40 days after the seeds have been sown, Five Spot is particularly recommended for borders, planters or rockeries.

Growing: sow the seeds directly into the soil from mid-April to mid-May. The seeds germinate in 10 to 14 days at 18-20oC. The plants require light permeable soils in sunny or semi-shaded positions. One gram of seeds produces around one thousand plants.
