The Freeman variety belongs to late double tulips. A flower that basks in a sunny glow has all the makings of becoming a favourite of lovers of warm colours. Shades of yellow, orange, apricot, and subtle green accents interchange on the numerous petals of the Freeman tulip in a stunning, yet exceptionally harmonious way. This beautifully coloured variety does not grow high, only thirty to forty centimetres on average. The unique beauty of Freeman tulips contrasts splendidly with their foliage. Green, rather narrow, smooth leaves with a distinctly wavy edge look great paired with warm colour of flowers. Presented type of tulips is recommended for planting in larger groups that paint an amazing, energetic image on the garden canvas. Amber-coloured flowers of the Freeman tulip, arranged in bouquets and put in a vase, can cheer up home interiors.

Choose a bright, preferably sunny site for your tulips. To thrive, their bulbs, planted exclusively in autumn, require a fertile and, above all, well-drained soil. Enrich the earth with slow-release organic or mineral fertilizer to help tulips produce large, healthy flowers in saturated colours. While the bulbs take root and later in spring, when they sprout and produce flowers, they must be watered abundantly. Topping of wilted flowers and digging out bulbs in autumn support tulip health and flowering power.

One package contains five bulbs of the Freeman tulip, sized 11/12 centimetres. Basic plant information and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
