Garden dill "Turkus" (Anethum graveolens) is an annual plant excreting a magnificent aroma. Since this is an early variety, it is seldom attacked by diseases, what results in rich and high-quality harvest. This plants may grow up to 150 cm tall with flowers. Leaves do not strike with their size, yet are very ornamental. They are dark green, thickly covered with waxy coating and enchant with their aroma. Greens contain large amount of dry matter, beta-carotene and vitamin C. This variety is ideal for green harvest, freezing and drying. Mature plants with umbels are perfectly suited as seasoning for pickles and marinades.

Dill grows best and develops strongly-scented leaves on a sunny site. It prefers permeable and well-cultivated soils. The best way to have fresh green leaves at your disposal all the time is periodical sowing every fortnight or so. Sowing to the ground may take place from March until September.
