Lemon Frizzle gladiolus (Gladiolus) will delight you with unusually large, frizzled flowers. Their subtle, pale yellow colour should also attract your attention. The erect, slender habit is characteristic for these plants that grow up to 100 cm tall. Flowers develop gradually, extending the flowering period for a long span from July to September. Bright blooms of the Lemon Frizzle gladiolus will catch your eyes in every flower arrangement, but we suggest to book them a place at the border centre, where they would do most of their charm and looks.
Gladiolus bulbs should be planted in garden from April to May. They will bloom abundantly provided with a sunny and sheltered site. Proper soil type is also of essence here. Permeable soil rich in nutrients and humus should suit this species best. You have to excavate gladioli bulbs before the winter. Store cleaned and dried bulbs in an airy, frostprotected room.
One package contains 50 bulbs of the Lemon Frizzle gladiolus, sized 12/14. Essential growing instructions have been printed on each package.
