Microgreens - Dill offers a new method of using this aromatic herb in a healthy, balanced diet. Dill belongs to the most popular green herbs in the Central European cuisine. The latest trends in nutrition and dietary science encourage you to try this plant in a novel form. We hereby present special seeds devised for growing microgreens, extremely young plants. They are delicious and contain way more nutrients that your body needs for proper development. Dill is a renown and proven source of vitamin C and B vitamins that are together responsible for your body's resistance. It is rich in antioxidants that neutralize the free radicals. The high beta-carotene content improves the condition of the skin and protects the eyes. Folic acid, magnesium, iron and phosphorus that the young plants also contain help you stabilize the blood pressure and functioning of the cardiovascular system way better than dietary supplements available in stores.

Dill microgreens, similar to the mature plants, perfectly complement all potato dishes. They can also add a new dimension to light salads, vegetarian dishes, fillings, spreads and cottage cheese. You can add them to soups and sauces as well as all kinds of green smoothies. The pleasant, slightly nutty dill taste proves to be an all-purpose spice and young leaves of this plant give you even more possibilities of culinary use.

Growing microgreens on your own is easy. You only need to find a shallow dish with some soil - standard garden or pot soil will do the trick. Containers with drain holes are preferred, as they allow you to easily get rid of the excess humidity. Sow seeds densely, press them into the surface. You do not have to cover them with soil. This will prevent the edible parts of plants from getting stained. We recommend to use a sprinkler for watering the culture - this simple device will tenderly and evenly distribute water. Maintaining stable, moderate humidity is essential. Crops are harvested after 2 to 3 weeks, when the first true leaves appear. The cultivation at home can take place all year long and you will therefore always have access to fresh, delicious leaves.
