The Odorata Angelique fragrant begonia produces trailing, double, classic white flowers that are decorated with a hint of blushing red at the outer petals. This variety stands out with its dazzling scent, a feature highly valued by many people. The Angelique begonia shoots slightly trailing stems from within its thick, heart-shaped leaves. These stalks should be presented in hanging baskets, where their beauty can be fully exposed. Cascading flowers appear first in June and are continually produced until autumn. This garden rarity is a real eye-turner despite its modest height of 25 to 35 centimetres.

If you wish that your plants flower soonest possible, plant their tubers in pots at the end of winter or the beginning of spring. Keep those pots in well-lit and warm rooms. After the last frost in spring, you can put them outside and transplant onto borders. You should plant begonias in humous, fertile, slightly acidic soil. None of the tuberous begonias, including all fragrant varieties, likes to have its overground parts wetted and root waterlogged. All begonias need to be fed during the phases of intensive growth and the flowering period. Feed them with mineral multi-component fertilizers. Flowering plant and balcony plant food would be a good fit. You can also find special plant food dedicated for begonias on the market.

Take out the tubers from the ground in autumn. Clean the green parts, put tubers in a container and cover with sawdust or peat. Storage temperature should not exceed 10?C. The growing cycle starts again in spring of the following year.

We hereby offer tubers of the Angelique fragrant begonia. One package contains two tubers. Plant information and growing instructions are included in the product information printed on the label.
