The bright orange tree lily will definitely stand out among other plants in a home garden. This unique and tall beauty is a great flowering plant for flower bed backgrounds and cheering up a hedge. Lilies who tower over other plants in the garden and stun the onlookers with their beauty constitute a nice component of garden design. Tree lilies look great both as stand alone plants and in groups.  Lily flowers have always been considered excellent cut flowers. Their wonderful royal appearance and high durability have been valued by florists for years. Tree lilies who reach gargantuan size - up to two metres in height - display excellent hardiness and are seldom attacked by diseases and pests.

Lilies are plants that like bright and sunny situations. Lily bulbs that can be planted in spring or autumn develop best in a fertile, humous, slightly acidic, permeable soil.  Due to their height and weight of the flowers, we recommend planting them at places that are sheltered from wind or find a strong support for the stems. Regular, not too abundant watering and frequent fertilizing substantially contribute to the successful cultivation.  Lily bulbs can grow on a site that is rich in nutrients for five to seven years. Bulbs of the vigorous tree lilies must be planted at the depth equal triple the bulb height. Those broadly spreading plants need space, hence their bulbs should be spread 50 to 70 centimetres apart.

We hereby offer ten bulbs of the Orange tree lily, sized 16/18 cm. A label with the key plant facts and growing instructions can be found on every package.
