Oriental poppy Garden Glory is a perennial plant of extraordinary charm. Its large, bright flowers with delicate, jagged petals constitute a unique addition to informal flower beds, rural, and oriental gardens. Raised, unbranched stems end in a single, handsome flower. Impressive, black centers embedded in a wreath of fluffy stamens delightfully and contrastingly fill the interior of each flower. This charming plant with rosettes of dentate, feathery, distinctly pubescent leaves look nice planted single, but only growing it in a group of at least several specimens create an eye-catching spot on the background of other plants. Poppy flowers are suitable for creating picturesque meadows and delightful, naturalistic corners. Appropriate preparation allows to arrange beautiful poppies in atmospheric bouquets.

Plant Oriental poppy rhizome in spring, from March to June, depending on weather conditions. We recommend providing poppies with a well-lit, wind-sheltered position. This species prefers medium-fertile, permeable, and light soil. Fertilize poppy with plant food with increased potassium and phosphorus content during the bud-forming and flowering period. As Oriental poppy belongs to quite vigorous plants, keep appropriate spacings of 40 to 50 centimetres between plants already when planting. Oriental poppy is fully hardy.

Each package contains one first-selection seedling of the Oriental poppy Garden Glory. Packaging label contains basic plant facts and a quick growing guide.
