The Orphanidea Flava tulip is a vigorous bulb plant that flowers in late spring. It forms clumps that reach height of fifteen to twenty-five centimetres. They consist of long, lanceolate leaves and beautifully shaped, slender, cup-shaped flowers. They take on a deep yellow colour enriched with reflections of orange, red, and brown. Greenish accents can also be spotted, especially on closed buds.
