Painted Daisy ‘Robinson's Mix’ is a wonderful selection of perennial varieties that grow 60 to 80 centimetres in height. At the tops of their shoots develop very ornamental flowers in lovely shades of pink and red. The flowers have ligulate petals that flank the beautiful yellow centre. Painted Daisy ‘Robinson's Mix’ is predominantly used for cut flowers, and is highly recommended to be grown in flower beds. The plants look particularly attractive when grown in larger groupings.
Growing: sow the seeds in a seedbed from May to June. The seeds germinate in two weeks at 20oC. Plant out into a permanent position in 20-30cm spacings in September. The plants require sunny positions in fertile soils. The plants flower from June to September a year after the seeds have been sown.
