The Jacorma peony can quickly attract attention of every garden visitor. Its stunning, huge ball-shaped flowers that appear in July and August on erect, stiff stems, are reason enough to admire the plant. Impressive, about one-metre-tall peony perfectly fit onto perennial flower beds, lawns, and into other garden arrangements. A long-lived peony that does not tolerate transplanting looks wonderful planted alone too. Situated against a lawn background, it would delight you with abundant flowering and decorative dense foliage. Royal peony flowers make a great figure in a vase as a cut flower and are often used in wedding decorations and bouquets.

Plant the peony seedling at a carefully selected spot. This species prefers humus-rich soil that is deeply cultivated and moderately moist. You can expect buds to develop in large numbers at a sunny or only partially shaded site. Plant peony rhizomes in spring and at the turn of summer and autumn. Don't put the rhizome to deep, as the plant would not flower then. Peonies are sensitive, even capricious in that regard, and you have to be able to cope with it. A thin layer of soil, no thicker than several centimetres, should cover the rhizome. Flowers appear in the second or third year of growing. Until that time, you can always admire the elegant, shiny, palmate, emerald green leaves.

Each package contains one seedling of the Jacorma peony. Essential plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
