The Picasso canna lily is a gem for all those who like distinct shapes and colours. The charming lemon-yellow flowers are speckled with red dots. The oval petals twist slightly and give the plant a beautiful rich appearance. Huge, oval, juicy green leaves appear on the erect hollow stems. The colourful flowers look stunning at such a background. Presented canna cultivar grows 60 to 100 centimetres tall. Cannas are regarded as a bit exotic in Central Europe and there is a lot of truth in that. Canna lilies originate from tropical climate and adorn the garden from July to the first wave of cold in autumn. A Picasso canna planted on a border or in a pot chosen according to its size and growth form will introduce a warm note to your surroundings. Plants look sturdy and their intriguing form definitely improves the appearance multi-store arrangement. You can plant canna lilies at many different spots, e.g. as flowering covering and edging.

The canna lily offered here is a heat-loving plant that thrives on a sunny site that is sheltered from wind, with a fertile and humous soil. We recommend planting the thick massive rhizomes on borders after May 15th. You can speed up the process by planting canna in pots already in March. In a bright and moderately heated room, it will develop into a strong seedling that you can transplant or simply take outside in the pot. Presented species is not difficult to grow yet you need to provide it with substantial amounts of water and fertilizers, and regularly cut off dying flowers.

One package contains 10 first choice rhizomes of the Picasso canna lily. Basic plant facts and growing instructions can be found on the package label.
