The presented perennial grass grows 100 - 200 cm tall and produces ornamental clusters of pink flowers. It blooms in September and October. Use: cut flower in dried bouquets, single planting, smaller groups in gardens and parks. It looks particularly attractive near water reservoirs and ponds.

The 50 to 70 centimetres tall root stocks are sold in P9 containers.
