The Pisa gladiolus will take your breath away during your first encounter with this plant. Bright, juicy, orange-red colour stuns with its saturation. Rich ears of flowers that run along tall stems will not disappoint the most pick collectors of this noble species. The Pisa gladiolus is an energizing plant that wonderfully changes the heat map on borders that were kept in subdued colours. Flowers that take on the colour of a setting sun provide excellent material for a bouquet or occasional, unique decoration.

Gladioli will pay you back with long, abundant flowering for planting them at a bright, warm, and sheltered place. Plant their bulbs in spring into fertile, permeable soil that contains plenty of humus and nutrients. Do not plant them too shallow, as it may cause the tall plants to fall. Usually, 10 to 12 centimetres deep holes spread in 15 to 20 centimetre spacings are enough. Water planted bulbs regularly and feed them with multicomponent fertilizers. Stems that bend under the weight of the flowers often require staking. After the flowering period has ended, you must dig out the bulbs. Low temperatures might hurt them fatally. After cleaning them off green rests and roots, store the corms layered in airy baskets and boxes in a cool, dry basement of a storage room. You can plant them again starting mid-April the next year.

One package contains 5 gladioli bulbs of the presented variety. These bulbs are sized 12/14 centimetres in circumference. The basic plant information and growing instructions can be found on the package label.
