Polish Flowers - Sunflower 'Amor Admir' (Helianthus annuus) is an extremely attractive variety that would enchant you with large, yellow blooms with bright centres. These medium tall plants develop stiff stalks that may reach 100-120 cm in height. The anthodia develop in summer atop the stalks. The 'Amor Admir' sunflower develops large first inflorescences, but also produces side stalks on which gradually other, smaller blooms appear. This characteristics makes this variety stand out from other sunflowers. These tall plants look great at the background of a flower bed, you may also grow them alongside fences and walls. The sturdy inflorescences may also be cut and put into vases.

Sunflower seeds are sown directly to the borders in spring. We advise to keep 40x50 cm spacings between them, so the plants have enough space to develop correctly. Sunflowers, as the name suggests, feel well at sunny sites. These plants require fertile, sufficiently permeable and moderately moist soils that are rich in humus. Flowers would continue to develop until autumn in proper conditions.
