Bellarosa is an early potato variety that produces large tubers. Characteristic for this variety is the red-pink skin. The buds are shallow, which allows for quick and easy peeling of Bellarosa potatoes. The light yellow flesh does not darken, both when raw and cooked, a valuable feature among potatoes. This delicious, productive variety that produces oval tubers gains recognition among farmers and gardeners. Numerous advantages of the Bellarosa include high storage durability and resistance to external factors, you can clamp them. This variety is resistant to various types of environmental stress. Neither drought, partial water-logging, nor air pollution can harm it. Bellarosa is fairly resistant to scab and pests, but it might fall to blight. Early, high, premium-quality yield can be used right after the harvest, boiled as a side dish. Belonging to the type B, this potato is also suitable for the preparation of typical potato dishes such as gnocchi, dumplings, hash browns, sausages, and puffers. Bellarosa potato tastes great baked and fried, in a soup, and as a delicious purée.

Bellarosa belongs to those varieties that do not require much effort from the grower. The variety has quite low soil and water requirements. Plant these seed potatoes at a sunny spot in well-drained, loosened soil. Ridges, i.e. raised beds, are the most popular method of growing potatoes. Plant seed potatoes in spring, in April, 28 to 30 centimetres apart, in rows every 75 centimetres. The harvest starts in July.
