The So Sweet hosta is a garden perennial that dazzles with its bicolour leaves and scented light lavender-purple flowers. Presented variety is characterized by extremely long leaf petioles that support cordate, green blades with a rather even, creamy-white edge. Presented hosta cultivar has won many admirers thanks to a strong scent of its blooms. So Sweet is recommended for forming colourful, stunning, multi-species borders and covering larger garden areas that lay in partial or complete shade. Ornamental foliage of that hosta can be used in bouquets. Plantain lily, as this plant is also called, look good in planted two or three plants per site, but are absolutely delightful in groups of ten to fifteen specimens.

We recommend planting hostas on sheltered sites, in moderately compact, slightly acidic and moist soil. You can plant them all season long apart from the periods of summer heat. Hosta rhizomes do not have to be planted deeply. Spacings depend on the size and vigour of a given variety but should not be smaller than 30 centimetres. You can feed hostas with compost at first. It will not be needed anymore after a few years. This plant starts its vegetation rather late, hence you should not be worried by the initial lack of germination. Hosta is a low-maintenance plant that is also durable, hardy, and easy to propagate. Planted once, it will decorate the garden for years to come.

Indicated price is valid for 1 one first-choice rhizome of the presented hosta variety. The bag with the rhizome is equipped with a label that contains basic plant facts and growing instructions.
