The Sombrero Salsa Red coneflower is a dwarf variety that produces bright red flowers. It forms erect tufts, whose height does not exceed 50 cm. Attractive, large flowers sit on stiff, hairy stems. Dark green foliage provides an excellent background for bright flowers. Coneflower is one of the plants that are resistant to diseases, pests, and low temperatures alike. You can use it in many ways. It looks good in naturalistic arrangements and formally designed flower beds. Beautiful flowers that appear from July to September attract butterflies and bees with their nectar.

The impressive red flowers of the presented variety look great under windows and at the background small shrubs. The Sombrero Salsa Red coneflower harmonizes fantastically with sage, speedwells, rudbeckia, and lower sunflower varieties. Offered variety enables you to create bright patches that should be planted at fairly regular intervals. Due to the size of the plants, this type of coneflower is suitable for planting along paths, sidewalks, and driveways. Its flowers offer great material for bouquets, while the dry, spiky flower centres look beautiful in long-lasting compositions.

Plant coneflowers in spring, in sunny places, sheltered from the wind. Choose a fertile, well-drained and humus-rich soil for the seedlings. The soil should be slightly acidic to slightly alkaline. Water Echinacea regularly, preferably in the morning or evening. Feed plants grown in containers with liquid fertilizers, those planted in the ground prefer compost.

Each package contains one root seedling of the Sombrero Salsa Red coneflower. Essential plant facts and growing instructions can be found on the label.
