Growing sprouts is easy. At first you need to rinse and soak the seeds. Soaking time depends on the size of the seeds - barley needs circa 4 - 6 hours. Rinse the seeds again and put into a sprouter or large jar. The culture should be located on a warm site that is, however, not directly exposed to sunlight. Rinse the sprouting seeds twice a day in order to maintain proper humidity and prevent mould from developing. Crunchy, juicy barley shoots are ready to eat after 3 to 4 days.
