The Sun gladiolus attracts bees and butterflies to its creamy-yellow flowers. It belongs to the Bambino group and is therefore perfectly suited for planting at border edgings, flower beds, and for cutting and making into charming summer bouquets. Erect, up to 80 centimetres tall stems, covered with funnel-shaped flowers can be used in many ways. It means that they can be planted on borders in a garden and in pots on a balcony or patio. The Sun gladiolus that stands out with exceptionally long flowering period is loved by gardeners and florists alike. Tender inflorescences of that variety look stylish and attractive in any given plant arrangement.
Successful cultivation of gladioli requires sunlight and rich, properly cultivated soil. Planting of the bulbs takes place in spring. Make about 10-centimetre deep holes at the prepared site and put bulbs inside. Keep 15 to 20 centimetre spacings between the plants. During the season, gladioli need fertilizing and, should the flower stalks arch, staking. In autumn, after the flowers have wilted and the plants have stored enough nutrients, you should dig them out. The frost-sensitive corms should be dried and stored inside dry and cool rooms.
One package contains 5 gladioli bulbs of the presented variety. These bulbs are sized 12/14 centimetres in circumference. The basic plant information and growing instructions can be found on the package label.
