The Splendide Apricot trailing begonia will seduce all lovers of extraordinary plants. Warm, peach-pink flowers stun onlookers with their beauty almost all growing season long. The 25 to 35 centimetres tall, compact, densely leaved begonia with a slightly trailing habit quickly becomes a star of a hanging container or a large, tall pot. Cascades of its double flowers look phenomenal on their own and in combination with other species with flowers in similarly bright and juicy colours. Trailing begonia is a first-class choice for decorating a balcony, terrace, or a wooden gazebo. They make a barbecue corner cozier and can adorn the entrance to the house.

Plant begonia tubers already in winter. Put them in shallow pots and bowls and let develop in a bright, warm room. After the May frost, you can transfer plants outside and plant them in the ground. Hanging begonias do not differ in requirements from its relatives. It needs a humous, fertile, slightly acidic soil. None of the tuberous begonias likes excessive wetting of the overground parts, nor waterlogging soil. Begonia needs regular fertilization during its intensive growth and flowering. Use multi-component fertilizers with reduced nitrogen content. Trimming faded flowers helps prolong and intensify the flowering. Begonia does not winter in the ground in Central European climate. Dig out tubers from the beds and pots in autumn. Clean and gently dry them, then put into a box and cover with sand or sawdust. Store in a cool, dry room until replanting in early spring.

Each package contains two tubers of the trailing begonia Splendide Apricot. Basic plant facts and a quick growing guide were printed on the packaging label.
