The Orange Space tree lily belongs to garden aristocracy. Its attractive flowers that resemble star-shaped cups are huge and therefore can be seen from afar. Tree lilies that grow more vigorously and bloom more abundantly every year are magnificent decorative plants that instantly become a head turner. The spectacular show that these plants give can beautifully accentuate a back border of a garden arrangement or be used in the centre of a planting. Its flowers take a saturated orange colour and excrete a nice, subtle aroma that attracts dozens of insects to the garden. The Orange Space lily blooms at the end of July and beginning of August. It is unmatched in its beauty.

You can plant lily bulbs twice a year. End of September and beginning of October or April in spring are the best months for planting lilies. Choose a sunny site for them or a spot that remains in the shade for only a few hours daily. Lilies require a high quality, fertile soil that is rich in humus. Maintaining appropriate soil humidity is key in growing lilies. You should not let the ground dry out nor flood it with water. We recommend creating a drainage layer and add humus to the soil before putting bulbs into the soil. Weeding, watering, feeding with multicomponent fertilizers, topping wilted flowers, and mulching of the ground belong to the essential gardener's tasks that need to be performed when growing lilies.

Tree lilies look good in the second row and in the background of flower beds. They wonderfully adorn gardens together with such perennials as daylily, bushy phlox, aster, or less popular varieties of ornamental grass. The provide great company for seasonal flowering plants, such as cosmos, dahlia, and tufts of heliotrope.
