The Mister Pistache lily (Lilium) is our proposal for all gardeners who are looking for a tall impressive perennial with flowers that take on a subdued colour. This exceptionally tall variety develops large, six-petal, broadly open flowers that consist of milk white petals and have a golden yellow centre. Its elegant flowers are perfectly suited for vases and can complement the plants with more vividly coloured flowers on the flower bed. The Mister Pistache lily unfolds its buds in the second half of summer and therefore can act as background for the lower growing lilies, daylilies, canna, rudbeckia, sunflowers, coneflowers, asters and zinnias.

The bulbs of the Mister Pistache lily should be grown in a moist, moderately compact and humous soil. The variety offered here in our store tolerates harsh winters, hence can be planted in spring and autumn. It likes sunny or partially shady sites and does not have any special requirements. Its bulbs do not need to be excavated and since the new bulblets develop each year, the blooming gets more and more abundant.
