"Sunlover" is a splendid new late double tulip variety. Marvellous, heavy, dark golden blooms constitute a true energy source in the garden. Changing colours during the development of the blooms is one of the greatest features of these flowering plants. Therefore they are often called "chameleon tulips". They create an incredible, magical colour festival. The initially yellow blooms turn into balls adorned with intricate, orange-red veining.

Plan the planting of the "Sunlover" tulips for autumn, from mid-September until end of November. They will be thankful for wind-sheltered, sunny or partially shady sites. You will grow the large, abundant tulips on well drained soil that is rich in humus and moderately moist during the vegetation period.

The tall plants (up to 60 cm in height) of this variety are nature's true masterpieces that look tremendously on borders and flower beds, as well as in containers. Late double tulips are perfectly suited for growing on pavement and path edges. The "Sunlover" variety is an extremely ornamental cut flower, too.
