The Whispering Dream tulip differs from the other lily-flowered tulip varieties with its romantic colouring. This variety, slightly lower and smaller than the majority of them, makes up for the lesser stature with the unique beauty of its flowers. Its slender cups with a slightly bent petal endings take on a milk white colour, with a pink shade at the beginning. The pink petal edges darken with time. The fully developed blooms of the Whispering Dream tulips dazzle with the intense fuchsia pink colour - only the bottom part of the flower remains white. The presented variety grows up to 40 cm and perfectly fits into the foreground of a tulip arrangement. It will also bloom long and beautifully in a vase.

Choose any sunny site with a fertile and permeable soil for tulip cultivation. The bulbs of the Whispering Dream variety should be planted in autumn in groups that count at least 5 plants. It is worth to provide it with the company of other late tulips, such as the Ballerina, Burgundy, Tres Chic or Sapporo. Its pink-white, slender blooms turn out to be a valuable complementary piece to the multi-species flower bed arrangements consisting of ornamental onions, daffodils, hyacinths and fritillaries.
