The Whale Shark crocus produces large, bicolour flowers that are crowned with pale orange anthers. This low growing, pleasant plant can cover quite large patches of your garden in early spring already, painting the grey post-winter landscape with first colours. Presented variety develops intriguing flowers. Their rounded petals interchange, with the purple-blue inside and silvery white forming the outer layer. Several narrow, dark green leaves that shoot from each bulb accentuate that colour play. You can plant crocuses in many different places. You can spot them most commonly at the front of compositions or in rows along a path. Since this species naturally grows in the mountains, it perfectly suits rock and alpine gardens. Crocus wonderfully revives a lawn that only wakes up after the winter. A green patch with a crocus pattern fills the garden with joy and makes the wait for warmer days shorter.

Choose sunny spots with a humous, moderately moist soil for growing crocus. Group planting guarantees best results. To create cheerful spring meadows, plant small crocus bulbs 10 to 15 centimetres apart, 6 to 8 centimetres deep. Crocus belongs to virtually maintenance-free plants. You do not have to dig them out before the winter or protect from frost.

One package contains 10 bulbs of the Whale Shark crocus. Essential plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
