Beetroot "Rywal" (Beta vulgaris var. conditiva) is a very universal, early variety. It is perfectly fitted for direct consumption, preparation of preserves and long-term storing. It shows great productivity. "Rywal" beetroot roots take on unusual, elongated, cylindrical shape. They may weigh between 160 and 200 g. They are covered with smooth, thin, tender peel. The crimson flesh is evenly coloured across all the cross section. Juicy, tasty roots contain plenty of sugars, that account for the slightly sweety taste. It contains large amounts of provitamin, A, vitamins C, P, PP and B vitamins. You will also find natrium, kalium, phosphorus, zinc and calcium in them.

Beetroots are easy in cultivation and sown directly to the ground. "Rywal" beetroot seeds available in our garden store should be sown from April to end of June in rows 30 - 50 cm apart. Beetroot is an undemanding plant that would thrive in every soil. You will achieve the best results in light soils with high content of humus and water.
