Begonia Rosebud is an exceptionally decorative variety with double, two-tone flowers. The petals are white-pink with an intense pink edge, giving them an elegant and distinctive character. The flowers resemble small roses and form dense, striking rosettes. The dark green, slightly glossy leaves set them off clearly and highlight the flower colour. The plant has a compact, neat habit and is ideal for pots, balcony boxes and flower beds. It flowers for a long time and abundantly throughout the summer until autumn.
Plant the tubers from February to March, preferably in containers in early spring, to provide the plant with suitable growing conditions.
Plant to a depth of 5-7 cm, placing the tuber with the hollow side facing upwards.
A spacing of 25-30 cm between plants is recommended so they can develop freely.
This variety reaches a height of 25-35 cm.
It flowers abundantly from June to October, producing successive buds throughout the season.
The plant does not overwinter in the ground. In autumn, the tubers should be lifted and stored in a dry, cool place until the next season.
Begonia is excellent for growing in containers, balcony boxes and flower beds. It is also suitable for edging flower beds and for terraces. Its long and abundant flowering keeps it attractive throughout the season.
