BIO chickpea sprouting seeds constitute an extremely valuable ingredient of the daily diet. Chickpeas sprouts are a great source of carbohydrates, proteins, B vitamins, as well as vitamins A, C and E. They contain plenty of calcium, iron and zinc, too. You may serve them raw or steamed. They taste great with turmeric and ginger. Try sprinkling them over sandwiches, salads, spreads, steamed meat or vegetables. Certified organic seeds that are available in our store were grown without the use of chemical control agents and artificial fertilizers.
Everyone may grow chickpea sprouts at home. Cultivation may take place all year long in a warm and bright place. Soak chickpea seeds in water for several hours and then place them on a sprouter tray or a jar covered with gauze. Place the culture on windowsill, that is however, not directly exposed to sunlight. Remember to water the sprouts regularly, at least two times daily. Chickpea sprouts may be eaten already within 3 - 5 days after sowing.
