The 'Varsovia' common stock is a delightful flowering plant whose blooms take on colours from the entire rainbow palette. The offered variety mix will allow you to grow intensely raspberry red, burgundy, pink and purple, as well as white and creamy-white flowers. You will achieve the most decorative effect by planting them in groupings of several or even a dozen plants. Once considered to be a grandmother's flower, it is now returning to gardens.

The 30-90 cm tall common stock can become the undisputed flower bed queen not only thanks to its captivating scent. Its erect, stiff stems are covered with several (up to a dozen) large, double or single flowers. Light green leaves with a shimmering blade provide a great setting for the colourful flowers. Common stock is widely valued as a seasonal supplement to perennial beds and annual flower beds and borders. It reliably blooms in boxes and containers, where it becomes a long-lasting decoration that perfectly harmonizes with other plant species. The common stock has been a popular cut flower for bouquets for many years. colourful and fragrant compositions wonderfully decorate the house. In order to extend their life, flowers are not cut, but pulled out with the roots. The flowering period begins in June and the plants that abundantly produce flowers wilt in autumn.

The 'Varsovia' common stock is recommended for sunny and warm sites. It requires a permeable, sufficiently yet moderately moist soil that is rich in nutrients and humus. It also prefers a high lime content. Due to the shallow root system, common stock does not tolerate drought. It requires fertilizing too, preferably with multi-component fertilizers for flowering plants.

Seeds are sown in spring, in April, into boxes or pots at home. The seedlings need to be pricked out. Transplant them to the permanent site in the second half of May, 20-30 cm apart.
