The Crispion Sweet tulip (Tulipa) belongs to most unconventional late tulip varieties. Large, double flowers of this unique fringed tulip have decorative edges and display an eye-pleasing mix of spring colours: pink, white, and green. Petals with denticulated edges take on an intense magenta colour. It is additionally accentuated by white spots and stripes scattered on their surface. Petal bases are additionally decorated with green stripes. The fascinating Crispion Sweet tulip grows up to fifty centimetres (twenty inches) tall, and thanks to its slender habit and sumptuous flowers, it can easily become the main decoration of a flower bed or border.
Growing tulips is simple and satisfying. Plant bulbs in autumn in humous, loosened, and moist soil. That soil should also be light and permeable, and the site - sunny or slightly shaded. Crispion Sweet tulip combines winter hardiness with high flowering prowess that is put on display in May. That is why we recommend combining it with late viridiflora, lily-flowered, and fringed tulips, as well as begonias, bearded irises, late daffodils, columbines, and grape hyacinths on flowerbeds, borders and lawn edges. Offered variety works great as cut flower too.
One package contains five bulbs of Crispion Sweet tulip, sized eleven to twelve centimetres (four-and-a-half to eleven inches) in circumference. Essential growing instructions can be found on the package.
