Pickling cucumber (Cucumis sativus) "Odys F1" belongs to the most fruitful heterotic cultivars with increased resistance to gourd diseases, particularly the downy milew. This plant produces regularly shaped, rather short fruit with shiny skin covered with thick, but sparse warts. It develops small seed cores, what makes this variety a perfect fit for preserving and pickling. Fresh fruit contain plenty of water and minerals, such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and iron. Vitamin content is rather low, however, "Odys F1" pickled cucumbers supply large quantities of vitamin C.

The variety offered here is intended for direct sowing in second half of May. It is recommended to provide the plants with a sunny, warm and sheltered site with a fertile, water-retaining soil with neutral reaction. The plants stand out with their great vigour and health. Harvesting cucumbers of this variety for preserves can be conducted from late July until September.

Each package contains 3 g of pickling cucumber "Odys F1" seeds. The package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
