Arabian Night brings a very dark, насыщенный shade of red to the garden that from a distance appears almost black. The full, regular flowers are compact in structure and clearly defined in form, so they hold their shape well throughout the flowering period. Its deep colouring brings order to planting schemes and gives them a distinct, strong colour accent. It is a good choice for anyone looking to add an intense, dark tone to a border.
Dahlia tubers are planted in spring. Plant them outdoors after the risk of frost has passed, usually from late April to May, once the soil has warmed up. An earlier start is possible indoors in pots placed in a bright position.
The dahlia tuber should be covered with a layer of soil about 5-10 cm thick. The buds should be covered, but not planted too deeply.
Allow 30-40 cm between plants to give them room to develop and ensure good air circulation.
This variety reaches 90-120 cm in height, producing upright, sturdy flowering stems.
Flowers from July to October.
Dahlia does not overwinter in the ground. In autumn, after the first frosts, the tubers should be lifted and stored in a dry, cool place until the following spring.
Arabian Night works well in contrasting combinations with light-coloured perennials or ornamental grasses. Its dark flowers add depth and definition to arrangements. It is also suitable as a cut flower, bringing a strong, rich colour to bouquets.
We offer healthy, carefully selected dahlia tubers. Each batch is checked so that the planting material is in good condition. We also provide support if you have questions about cultivation.
The pack contains 1 dahlia tuber. The label includes basic planting information.
