Dahlia Pacific Ocean is a variety of surprising, exotic beauty. The combination of lemon yellow and clear pink perfectly matches the form of flowers presented by this variety. Pacific Ocean has been introduced in 2021. Since then, this charming dahlia has won hearts of many gardeners. The reasons for this are its beauty, surprisingly long (even for a dahlia) flowering period, and versatility. Ocean Pacific dahlia grows to 70 to 90 centimetres tall. This erect plant tends to spread broadly, acquiring a bush habit. The lush green foliage enhances the bright colours of the flowers. This spectacular dahlia can decorate a flower bed, border, larger plantings on a lawn, or the edges of the plot. Dahlia flowers allow you to prepare bouquets to decorate your home or gazebo.

Charming dahlias need proper care. The optimal planting date for them is late spring, when temperatures outside have already stabilized. These charming plants require fertile, humous soil. To grow and flower abundantly, they need plenty of sunlight, moderate watering, and regular feeding with compost or flowering plant fertilizer.
Dahlia cannot winter in the soil, you must dig it up in autumn. Trim the stems first and then gently dig up the roots. Put them in boxes stored in a dry room with a temperature of approximately 2 to 4ºC. A sand or peat layer can additionally protect dahlia tubers. Should tubers lose firmness or wrinkle on the surface, gently moisten them with a sprayer.

Each package contains one first choice dahlia seedling of the Pacific Ocean dahlia. Look for basic plant facts and growing tips on the package label.
