The Dior tulip (Tulipa) is a captivating variety which produces huge, double, peony-shaped flowers. This absolutely magnificent flower is named after the famous fashion house for a reason. It consists of satin, large petals, each of which constitutes a miniature work of art - both in terms of the frilled shape and the subtle play of colours, from pearly, light pink to more intense magenta tones. The variety presented in our store grows up to forty-five centimetres (eighteen inches) in height and blooms earlier than most double tulips, in mid-April already.

We recommend planting tulips with lush, large, and fluffy flowers like Dior in groups, leaving fifteen-centimetres (six-inch) spacings between individual bulbs. Presented variety is perfectly suite for single or bi-variety strict compositions, e.g. geometric ones. For those, we recommend bulbs of early tulips that are available in a wide selection in our store. Peony-shaped flowers in shades of pink will enrich and cheer up a multi-species flower bed, a perennial group, a border, or an empty spot under the sunny southern wall of the house. Dior tulip works perfectly as a cut flower in festive and wedding bouquets. It is a reliable, durable, and easy-to-grow variety. It thrives in every moderately fertile garden soil.

One package contains five bulbs of Dior tulip, sized eleven to twelve centimetres (four-and-a-half to eleven inches) in circumference. Essential growing instructions can be found on the package.
