Dodecatheon 'Meada' pink forms dense rosettes of leaves close to the ground, and they keep their decorative appearance for a very long time. From this base rise slender, slightly reddish stems, on which this distinctive perennial produces pink flowers with a pronounced centre and strongly reflexed petals. This loose, exceptionally airy form makes it ideal for informal plantings, especially in semi-shaded parts of the garden.
Tubers are best planted in April to provide optimal conditions for growth.
The recommended planting depth is 5-7 cm, allowing the plant to develop healthily.
Plants should be spaced 20-25 cm apart to give them enough room to grow.

The plant is frost hardy, but covering it for winter is recommended for extra protection.
Dodecatheon 'Meada' performs well in semi-shaded borders and in gardens with a natural character. It can be planted under trees, near walls, or alongside other shade-loving plants such as hostas, ferns, and heucheras.
