The Elmshorn park rose belongs to valuable cultivars that blooms continually and can be used in many ways. Shrubs of that variety grow tall, reaching one-and-a-half to two metres of height in favourable conditions. Numerous double, durable flowers loose petals after they wilt. Freshly opened buds take a nice, pink colour that pales in the summer heat. Up to forty flowers may gather in a cluster, making that variety truly exceptional. Shoots that carry that many flowers tend to bend picturesquely. Those splendid pink domes measure five to six centimetres in diameter and excrete a nice, apple scent. Elmshorn rose shrubs produce flowers continually from the beginning of summer to autumn. They have light green, nicely shining, slightly wrinkled leaves. Stems are covered with thorns, what proves to be an advantage when planting that rose variety in hedges.

Presented rose is truly exceptional. It is resistant to diseases, tolerates various types of soil, and grows well even partial shade. Elmshorn belongs to roses that do not need much grower's care. Trimming of the dense growing shoots in spring and pruning of the entire wilted flower clusters is all this rose needs.

A group of park roses can be seen in home gardens, public greeneries, and recreational grounds. They can fill empty spots, but you can also plant it single at a wall, or in a group on a lawn. Park roses wonderfully complement both perennials and annuals. They harmonize with smaller shrubs too. Versatile park roses are a great option for a unique, charming hedge.

Supply rose seedling with water before planting - it is best done by putting it into a larger container filled with water for several hours. Then, plant it in hole twice the size of the root ball. Cover it with soil, press firmly, and water abundantly. During the first few years of growing, we recommend protecting plants from the winter by covering it with a soil hill at the shoot base.

The offered rose seedling is packed in a bag that protects roots from drying.
