French marigold "Honey Moon" (Tagetes patula nana) will adorn your garden with a multitude of flowers in sunny colours. Numerous double inflorescences develop all season long until autumn frosts. Large, bright yellow inflorescences measure 4 - 7 cm in diameter. "Honey Moon" variety grows 25 cm tall, therefore it perfectly fits lower borders and flower beds and you will be able to create compact edgings with it, too. These plants are valued for long blooming period and easy cultivation. They thrive on sunny or partially shady sites in fertile soil. Pot marigold seeds should be sown early in spring to containers and boxes placed in a warm and bright room or in May directly to the ground. The emergence occurs after 7 - 10 days. Plants ahould be provided with constant humidity and temperatures between 16 and 20°C. Seedlings are transplanted in 30 x 20 cm spacings after the last spring frosts have passed.
