Heuchera 'Purple Palace' produces decorative, purple leaves with deeply lobed shaping and slightly scalloped edges. Their dark, slightly glossy surface makes a distinct accent in the border. Above the clump of foliage rise slender stems with small, pale flowers. The plant forms compact, semi-spherical clumps and combines well with other perennials, as well as with ferns and shrubs. This variety is particularly well suited to partially shaded and shaded positions.
Plant the bare-root plants from April to May.
The recommended depth is 6-8 cm.
Plant 40-60 cm apart.
This variety reaches a height of 40-80 cm.
Flowers from July to September.
The plant is frost hardy, but winter cover is recommended in severe, snowless weather.
Best used as a contrasting feature in partially shaded borders and for filling space beneath shrubs. It looks particularly good planted in larger groups, where it creates a uniform dark patch, but it can also be used as an accent to break up light-coloured compositions.
Our bare-root plants are carefully protected so that they arrive in perfect condition. This means you can enjoy healthy, beautifully developing plants.
The pack contains 1 bare-root plant. The label includes basic growing information.
