The Lakeside Dragonfly hosta that is available in our store is a charming perennial plant. Its elongated, sharp-tipped leaves form low and broad tufts. Golden centres of leaf blades are surrounded with a creamy-white to gold edge. Each leaf looks as if it has been adorned with a painter's brush, what seems to be the trademark of the plant. Its beauty gets a boost in summer when its lavender-coloured bell-shaped flowers bloom. Hosta harmonizes with other plant species, creating a unique background for them. This eye-pleasing plant is easy to grow and thrives on the most sites of the garden where other plants would suffer because of lack of light.

A sheltered, cosy site in partial shade or exposed to gentle sunlight only a few hours a day helps hostas develop well and maintain a healthy appearance.  We recommend planting rhizomes in fertile, humous, loosened, and moist soil.
