This type of tulips enchants with elongated flowers cups that consist of curved, pointed petals that mimic lily flowers. Mature lilyflowering tulips reach a height of about forty to fifty centimetres. This size makes them a versatile material for arranging garden beds and filling pots. Prepare the soil for autumn planting of tulip bulbs in advance. Thorough weeding, loosening, and fertilization of the ground is recommended. Make sure that the site is warm, sheltered from the wind, and preferably sunny. Put one or more bulbs into holes ten to fifteen centimetres deep, depending on the size of the bulbs. It is advisable to cover tulip growing sites with mulch before the winter to insulate the bulbs from frost. In spring, when the plants emerge, keep the soil moist. Top tulip plants at the end of the flowering season - remove wilted flowers. Since tulip handles low temperatures well, you can let bulbs winter in the ground. To make sure that the plants bloom profusely and stay healthy next season, it is recommended to dig out bulbs in summer, dry them, store at a cool, dark place, and plant again in autumn.
