The Millennium ornamental onion will help you add unique character to your garden. This beautiful perennial is distinguished by numerous pink-purple ball-shaped inflorescences. A lush, 40-to-50-centimetres tall and only slightly narrower tuft of long, grassy, juicy green leaves can be an instant hit of your garden border or flowerbed. Spectacular flowers of Millenium onion appear in summer, from July to August. Delicate, fluffy inflorescences grow on naked, straight stems, which look best in groups. This exceptionally attractive onion constitutes a valuable addition to modern gardens, a rock garden, or a charming detail in an English garden. Millenium onion flowers supply wonderful material for a unique bouquet. You can also used them dried in more durable boquets and compositions.

Ornamental onion is one of those plants that almost everybody can grow. It has no special requirements, yet it prefers sunny, secluded, and warm places. It grows perfectly in fertile, permeable soil that does not waterlog, a condition this plant does not tolerate. Whe planning and designing the site, not forget that plants gradually die after flowering, make sure to plant other species that would cover the gaps left by ornamental onions. We recommend feeding plants with a mineral preparation during the flowering period, from the bud forming to full bloom. Ornamental onion requires watering during extended periods of drought. Offered variety is fully hardy and can grow at the same spot for 2 to 3 years.

Each package contains one first-selection bulb of the ornamental onion Millenium. Basic plant facts and a quick growing guide were printed on the packaging label.
