Peony 'Bockstoce' (Paeonia) produces large, double flowers in a deep, intense red. Its many petals form a dense, rounded bloom with a lightly glossy surface. The flowers are borne on strong stems above a clump of dark green, leathery leaves that remain decorative throughout the season. Because of the large, heavy flowers, the plant may need support while in bloom.
