The White Cap peony is considered as one of the more beautiful varieties by the connoisseurs of the species. Even though it has been bred quite a while ago, it has not lost any of its charm. This variety is famous for its longevity and hardiness. Despite its royal appearance, it is easy to grow, and even beginning gardeners would master the task. The impressive White Cap peony produces magenta flowers with white centres, constituting a perfect cut flower and an enriching addition to every garden arrangement. Marvellous peony flowers appear on the stalks from May to June. Numerous buds turn into pom-pom-shaped flowers with fringed edges. Palmate, dentate leaves of the plant attract attention too. Peony offer excellent decorative value, they look great on a flower bed, grown as loose hedge, or in groups by building lines. Unusual flowers of the White Cup variety make great cut flowers that you can enjoy at home, in bouquets and other compositions.

Plant peony seedlings in a rich, humous soil that is also permeable, aerated, and deeply cultivated. This plant blooms most exuberantly in the sun, but partial shade would not prevent them from displaying their features. Moderate humidity is a must. This plant cannot stand transplanting, avoid it unless it is absolutely needed. Plant peony rhizomes in March and April or at the end of summer. Learn more about planting requirements beforehand. Only rhizomes planted at the right, low depth, can produce flowers.

Each package contains one seedling of the White Cap peony. Essential plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
