Petunias are grown from seeds sown in early spring to boxes or seeding trays, preferably into light and permeable soil. Containers should be placed in a warm and well-lit room, because petunias germinate most effectively in 24-25°C. Seedlings may be transferred outside as soon as the risk of frost has passed. We should provide them with a sunny and warm site, where they will bloom abundantly. Petunias do not require a special kind of soil, but we recommend to water and fertilise it regularly.
