The PRECIOSO santoku is a knife that originates from Japan and is considered an viable alternative to the traditional chef's knife. It is by its design a multifunctional tool. It looks like a combination of a kitchen cleaver and the already mentioned chef's knife. Its versatility allows for perfect slicing, chopping, dicing and carving.
