The unique Swizzle variety of the popular phlox should complement every garden. It produces subtle, fluffy clusters of white-pink flowers with a darker, star-shaped eye. One cannot get enough of that sight. The intricate form of the flowers with their overlapping, round petals perfectly match the cheerful colours. The perennial that we offer here reaches 60 to 80 centimetres in height. The abundant tufts that consist of petiole-less leaves add a nice fresh touch to every garden arrangement even before the flowering period. Phlox flowers appear in the second half of summer, usually from July. The flowering period of the beautifully scented flowers lasts quite long. Phlox flowers are perfect for the main part of a composition. Unpretentious phloxes are often used in country and naturalistic gardens. You can also grow them in containers and for cut flowers.

Phloxes are long-lived plants. If properly cared for, they can grow at the same site for up to a decade. The cultivation does not require expert knowledge. They prefer fertile, nutrient-rich soil that remains moderately moist. The site should be bright, but it does not have to be in direct sunlight. Phlox belongs to frost-resistant plants.

Quoted price is valid for one seedling of the Swizzle phlox. Basic plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
